Who is it aimed at?

Our Adult ADHD service is aimed at a neurological disorder with genetic causes that impacts on childhood and often lasts the individual throughout life. The exact cause of ADHD is unknown, but the condition has been shown to run in families. Scientists think it's likely caused by a combination of genes, environment, and slight differences in how the brain is hardwired. Our ADHD Specialist can go over the advantages and disadvantages of medication and psychological interventions.
