HealthDirect.ie, operated by PinkTree Limited, provides digital health services including secure messaging, consultations, and medical file sharing between users and clinicians. By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

This service is intended for users based in the Republic of Ireland. Do not use this service if you are not a resident of the Republic of Ireland or do not agree with these Terms.

We do not prescribe controlled or high-risk medications such as benzodiazepines, opioids, z-drugs, gabapentinoids, or similar substances. Conditions that require a physical examination (e.g., chest pain, testicular lumps, sudden headaches) are not suitable for treatment via our platform.

Minors may be seen only with a parent/guardian present. Any consultations without adult supervision for minors will be cancelled.

You must not misuse the service including but not limited to:

• Uploading malware or harmful content
• Attempting unauthorized access
• Initiating DDoS attacks or violating system integrity

Violations will be reported to law enforcement, and access to services will be immediately revoked.

HealthDirect.ie allows users and clinicians to securely upload and share medical files and reports. This feature is opt-in and requires your explicit consent each time files are shared.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful health information
• Not register on behalf of someone else without proper authority
• Review all clinical advice carefully before acting upon it
• Respect all staff; abusive behavior will result in account termination
• Follow up on all tests, investigations and GP referrals

Our clinicians agree to:

• Follow Irish Medical Council standards
• Prescribe responsibly and only when clinically appropriate
• Provide transparent, ethical care with secure handling of your data

You must:

• Keep login credentials secure and confidential
• Be at least 18 years old to register unless supervised as a minor

We reserve the right to suspend accounts in case of misuse, excessive demand, or violation of these terms.

HealthDirect.ie offers Individual and Family Plans with defined benefits. Plans auto- renew annually unless cancelled in advance. Refunds are not issued for partially used periods.

Consultations are subject to availability. Medications, referrals, and certificates are issued only where clinically appropriate.

• Video consultations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance for a refund
• Home test kits must be returned unused in original packaging (with a €15 deduction)
• Online web-form consultations may be cancelled with a €10 fee deducted

We reserve the right to refuse orders for clinical or regulatory reasons.

PinkTree Limited assumes clinical responsibility for HealthDirect.ie services to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:

• Incorrect or incomplete information provided by you
• Emotional distress or financial losses
• Indirect or consequential damages

We do not replace face-to-face medical consultation where necessary. Our liability does not extend to third-party linked websites.

We are committed to transparency. If an unintended or potentially harmful incident occurs during your care, we will communicate:

• What happened
• What actions are being taken
• How we will support you

This process includes an apology where appropriate, without constituting legal admission. All incidents will be documented in your health record.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Irish law. Disputes shall be handled in the Irish courts.

If any part of these terms is deemed invalid, it does not affect the enforceability of the rest.
